What is the Strength Sessions Program?

 

Strength Sessions at Devilfish Athletics offers a unique blend of individualized attention and the camaraderie of a small group setting. You will enjoy personalized workouts tailored to your specific goals, fitness level, limitations and training background, with the added motivation and support of your training partners.

Strength Sessions have a maximum of 4 students to 1 coach to facilitate high-attention coaching. We teach simple strength skills using kettlebells, dumbbells, calisthenics, suspension training, and occasionally, barbells.

The semi-private training format allows for cost-effective personal training without compromising quality. We ensure you receive the guidance and accountability you need to achieve your fitness objectives, in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Flexible Schedule

Choose the best times for your training. We offer a wide variety of availability for Strength Sessions. Weekly appointments help you with accountability. Flexibility to reschedule when needed helps you stay consistent!

Goal Setting Help

Whether or not you already have goals, your coach can help you. Setting concrete and achievable goals together is a big part of our relationship. Our coaches will help you lay out a plan to meet your targets in the time you want.

Personal Attention

Semi-private training ensures personal, high-attention coaching. In a small group, your coach can focus on you and help make sure you're getting the most out of your session.

Why Strength Sessions?

Our Strength Sessions program gives you consistency and specificity, two important pieces of attaining fitness results.

 

We’ve found that most people struggle with consistency when they begin training. Strength Sessions is similar to personal training. You have an appointment and we expect to see you at certain times every week (of course, you can reschedule when life happens!). The weekly appointments help you show up consistently.

 

Once you’ve developed consistency with training, you’re probably ready for more specificity. That means we are working on your goals or on improving your specific movement limitations. Group classes offer more generic training. Strength Sessions is customized to you.
